I am an entrepreneur fascinated by the world of children, who loves joining in their play, and feels the excitement of decorating a room just as much as they do.
The story of YSY AKROBAT actually began with that familiar search every parent experiences: "What can I put in my own child's room that is both affordable and sparks their imagination?"
The options I saw on the market were either worth a fortune or consisted of boring, flat (2D) stickers pasted on the wall. Yet, children see the world in 3D. They wonder what lies behind an astronaut, which rock the lion watches the valley from, or how the fox curls up on the crescent moon. Their imagination is not "flat."
Why "AKROBAT"? I have loved the word "Acrobat" since my childhood. Acrobats think fast, stay balanced, remain flexible, and overcome challenges with skill. These kits represent the most flexible and artistic form of paper. It is the story of how a flat piece of paper shapes in your hands to become a work of art.
Our Mission: Screen-Free Dreams Today, it is so easy to trap our children in the "pre-packaged dream worlds" offered by tablets and televisions. But we want what is challenging: for them to write their own stories.
